Troika poets collaborate for National Poetry Day 2021: 10 ‘Choice’ poems & a raft of ideas for teaching & creative play!
National Poetry Day 2021 is almost here (7th October)… this year’s theme is ‘choice’ and here at Troika we can’t wait to celebrate it!
Ten Troika poets have collaborated to create ten poems exploring choice in different ways, along with an accompanying resource packed with fun, creative and educational ideas to share with children around KS2.
From what to wear and how to spend our time, to how to handle others’ behaviour and what kind of world we want to live in, the poems span a variety of subjects and forms, and give plenty of food for thought and creative inspiration.
The poems and the resource - created with teachers, librarians and parents in mind - are all completely free for you to view, download, use and adapt for your own purposes.
