Chris White has always written poems and scribbled drawings since he was a boy. He did this just for fun and because he enjoyed it. Little did he know that many years later he would become a globe-trotting published poet.

In 2000 his first collection of poetry published, Bitey the Veggie Vampire, was published and since then he hasn't looked back and many other books of poetry, doodles and stories have since followed.

Chris is also a busy performance poet and his travels have taken him all around the UK and worldwide visiting theatres, schools, festivals - and even a prison or two. (Don't worry, they let him out!)

Along the way he’s also been on radio and television shows, written for the BBC, done workshops for the UK Government, designed t-shirts and illustrated and narrated Story Mouse apps for ipad and iphone.
